Felted Angel Ornament
Learn how to felt as you make an angel for your Christmas tree. With felting needles, we’ll craft a 7” wool angel and take some time to make it your own with locks for the hair and beads. Felting happens when the fibres of the wool are matted together. It’s fun and easy!
Instructor: Christine Johnson
Availability: Afternoons from 1-4 p.m., from Dec. 15 - 23.
Cost: $40, including materials and tax. Minimum 4 registrations, maximum of 8.
Level: Ages 10 and up.
All skill levels welcome, no experience necessary.
Location: Treehouse Art Studio and Gallery located upstairs in the main building of Calabogie Lodge.

Participants bring a gripper frame or non-slip hoop, #10 Regular Punch Needle and #10 Fine Punch Needle. Punch needles are available for purchase at $45 each. If preferred, punch needles and frames can be borrowed from the instructor for the duration of the workshop.

Craftivism is a movement of using our voices in the arts and crafts to express our concerns and Canadians right now have a lot of concerns. Learn the art of punch needle rug hooking AND express yourself. This piece is inspired by our Prime Minister insisting that Canada is not for sale. The design offers a chance for beginners to cover all the basics of punch needle rug hooking with many advanced options for the more experienced puncher. Punch needle is like painting with wool and the possibilities are endless.
Treehouse Art Studio and Gallery resides in Calabogie Lodge on the beautiful shores of Calabogie Lake, one hour west of Ottawa.
